How We Support the U.S. Army Armor and Cavalry Collection

PRESERVE
We conserve and restore historic vehicles, artifacts, documents and equipment from Armor and Cavalry history dating back to the early days of the U.S. Army.

EDUCATE
We educate and inspire the public through exhibits, tours, programs and events that bring the story of Armor and Cavalry service to life.

HONOR
We honor the service and sacrifice of Soldiers and families who have served in Armor and Cavalry units across all eras.
A Legacy Worth Preserving
The National Armor and Cavalry Heritage Foundation solicits and accepts donations from individuals, organizations, and corporations to fund our support. The Foundation is governed by a Board of Directors and managed by an Executive Director.
The Army has made a significant commitment to the future of the US Army Armor and Cavalry Collection, and NACHF is a full partner in this effort. We are dedicated to providing the support needed to maintain and showcase the most extensive and complete collection of tank and armored vehicles in North America.
From a cavalry charge on horseback across the fields of Gettysburg to the rapid deployment of tanks across the sands of Kuwait, the legacy of the mounted soldier is a story of mobility, of speed, and of the historic power to shift the mighty tides of war.
The history of the Armor and Cavalry is long and illustrious – older even than our great nation itself. Time-tested and battled-hardened, the branch has developed into the greatest combined-arms force in the American Military. This is a legacy that must not be forgotten at any cost.
